Age 6 to 10
Nikki Parmenter
Nikki trained in Fine Art at Manchester and London. She is sought after maker, teacher and speaker. The chameleon is free machine stitched through several layers of plastic PVC and iridescent cellophane and has been further embellished with split pins and acrylic paint and finally padded. A wire ring wrapped with patterned cotton strips forms the frame and background and this is decorated with leaves made from neoprene foam (funky foam) which has painted details. Butterflies are made with wrapped pipe cleaners.

Creative Prompt
The title of this piece sounds like a game, of hide and seek or peek-a-boo.
Do you have a game which you enjoy? It could be in the playground or on the computer, at home or with friends. Are there any special words involved in the game you play? Perhaps characters or moves, tricks or names.
Try writing a poem about the game, or about playing games in general.
Think about how you feel when you play, rushing or still, lazy or crafty.
You may want to use onomatopoeia to help bring your game to life. Ping! Zing!
